The inspiration came to me on a warm and languid summer's evening spent smoking cigars on the back veranda in rural Australia; a cool breeze caressed at the tendrils of our cigars as we relaxed under the stars, conversing lazily about art. I was giving ponderance to my next series as a tendril of cigar smoke curled playfully around a very shapely calf, glowing with the warmth of the evening... my muses sang to me and THE ART OF FORBIDDEN PLEASURE ~ TENDRILS ~ was born.
Each work is a hand painted original in oil on gesso primed, stretched canvas.
